U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham was elected as South Carolina’s 54th U.S. Senator in 2002 and was re-elected in 2008.

Prior to his election to the U.S. Senate, Senator Graham served eight years in the U.S. House of Representatives from South Carolina’s 3rd Congressional District and two years in the S.C. House of Representatives.

Senator Graham grew up in Central, graduated from D.W. Daniel High School near Clemson, and earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of South Carolina. He lives in Seneca and is a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

U.S. Senator Tim Scott was named United States Senator-designate on December 17, 2012 by Governor Nikki Haley. On January 3, 2013 he became South Carolina’s 56th U.S. Senator, replacing Senator Jim DeMint.

Prior to becoming U.S. Senator, Senator Scott served on Charleston County Council for 13 years, including four terms as Chairman and in the South Carolina House of Representatives for two years, where he was elected Chairman of the Freshman Caucus and House Whip. In 2010, Senator Scott was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from South Carolina’s 1st District.

Senator Scott is a graduate of Charleston Southern University and was the owner of Tim Scott Allstate and partner of Pathway Real Estate Group. He resides in North Charleston and is a member of Seacoast Church.
