We are honored to host U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (Florida) as the keynote speaker at our annual Silver Elephant dinner.

The May, 19, 2012 – 7:00 PM dinner will celebrate our state’s vibrant and growing Republican Party with South Carolina-based restaurants and live music.

This year’s Silver Elephant dinner will also honor our party’s proud heritage, as the first Silver Elephant dinners attracted Republicans from all walks of life. Senator Rubio’s personal story, combined with his outstanding leadership in Washington, make him a perfect choice for the occasion.

Since his against-the-odds victory in 2010, Senator Rubio has continually stood up to Barack Obama’s reckless spending and assaults on free enterprise. Senator Rubio was recently named a “Defender of Economic Freedom” for his votes to bolster America’s economy through economic opportunity for all.
