We are honored to host U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (Texas) as the keynote speaker at our annual Silver Elephant dinner.

With a theme devoted to honoring Sen. Jim DeMint, we’ll once again gather at the State Fairgrounds to fellowship and reflect on our party.

The 7:00 PM dinner on Friday, May 3, 2013 will celebrate our Republican Party in South Carolina, and past speakers have included Ronald Regan, Newt Gingrich, George W. Bush and Marco Rubio.

The Silver Elephant Celebration has a tradition of bringing the brightest starts in the GOP to our state and we feel that Sen. Ted Cruz is a compelling choice. In only a short time have we seen Sen. Cruz lead on issues ranging from the deficit to gun rights to efforts to repeal Obamacare. With his diverse background, intrepid work ethic and unparalleled intellect, Senator Cruz is exactly the type of leader we need in Washington and we’re honored to have him in Columbia on May 3.
