Good morning from Interstate 26 – we’re headed to the Upstate to meet with Senator Rand Paul!

Senator Paul’s visit closes out another great week for the State Party! I spent two days in Washington this week meeting with Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus and his staff. After hearing from Chairman Priebus, I’m even more convinced that our party is well on its way to big victories in 2014 and beyond! I thank Chairman Priebus for his strong leadership.

I also met with members of our Congressional delegation and their senior staffers. We discussed Victory 2014 and ways the State Party can help our federal delegation. Congressman Jeff Duncan (right) sends his best wishes to our State Executive Committee and hopes to see you all soon!

Finally, I’ve got some great fundraising news. In just 3 weeks, we’ve paid down $25,000 on the legal loan. Getting it paid off is within our reach! Thank you to the county parties, friends, and groups who have contributed so far: Sumter Co. GOP, York Co. GOP, Lancaster Co. GOP, Lake Wylie Republican Women’s Club, Rep. Todd Atwater, Rep. Kirkman Finlay, Rep. Craig Gagnon, former SCGOP Chairman Van Hipp, and many others.
