(Columbia, SC – 10/3/2018) South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Drew McKissick released a statement today regarding the latest TV ads from SC Democrat Constance Anastopoulo. The ads feature statements that mislead voters about her level of experience to serve as Attorney General.

“The simple fact is that she’s never prosecuted a criminal case before in her life. She hasn’t practiced law in over ten years. And when she did, she was defending criminals, not putting them in jail”, McKissick said.

“She’s using money made from chasing ambulances in order to mislead voters about her experience. Now her husband has popped up in her ads, putting her just one step removed from reality TV courtroom mud-wrestling. I guess Jerry Springer will show up next.”

Facebook postings also show that Anastopoulo is hosting a fundraising event with a “special guest” from the sleazy “Southern Charm” reality TV show.
